Okay :o) … finally, measurements… huuuge reality check :o) !

Introduction 

Hi my name is Linda, and I am really excited about starting the Drop A Dress Size in Jan 08 challenge because I know I badly need to lose boy fat and this is a meaningful and motivation start to drop more dress sizes :-)

My dress size right now honestly is, not sure, 50 or 52… I know, ouch :o ) !

My worst nutrition habit is sweets… anything, going from chocolate to custard :o ) .

My least favorite exercise is the forward lunge, I think :o ) .

When I have achieved my target of losing a dress size, I will feel better about myself, that I had the endurance and it will mean that I can continue doing it, even if it will be harder :-) .

Time to stop the excuses, Tim Goodwin is going to show me the way to better health and a great looking body.

Measurements

I really hope I got the measurements right… goodness! I am huuuge and totally disproportionate :o ) . I have already known that before but I always feel or see myself “slimmer” than I actually am… I think LOL :o ) .

Thighs: 81 cm
Hips: 133 cm
Waist: 119 cm
Chest: 109 cm

All ouch! wish I had not disappointed myself and others so much over the last months :o ) . But, yes, the past does not equal the future and I am getting going again :-) .

If anyone happens to read this, Have a really awesome 2008 :-) !

After some new problems with my provider, I have finally been able to read Tim’s emails :o ) . Wish I had done something yesterday though :o ) … most of the day, I have been in bed as I wasfeeling a bit sick :o ) . Anyway, if I still feel like this on Friday, I will go to the doctor and he will probably tell me whether I have got a mild brain concussion or whether it is just hypochondria LOL.

Anyway :-) , I did the energizer workout today and I loooved it :-) ! Am not quite sure though whether I am doing the exercises in the right way :o ) . Would like to watch the videos but currently, I am connecting to the internet via my mobile phone :o ) . Hopefully, I will be able to install the DSL modem and filter properly and I will have a fast access to the net from 4 January :-) .

I am sure I will not have any problems with the alcohol and bread “withdrawal” as I do not do any of those anyway. But I love pasta and it might get a little tough to not eat any after a month’s time :o ) .

Will do the workout and the cardio routine tomorrow, so as not to be too late :-) .

A bit of a reflective New Year’s Eve – D-1 to the programme… oh oh :o) !

I suppose while most people are probably celebrating with friends or family, I am sitting here ready to get to bed :o ) . Got a mild concussion three days ago and keep on having accidents in the past days. Like cutting myself while peeling onions (!!!) or knocking my head against walls or steel things three times in two days.

But, no, I will not let anything get in my way for starting tomorrow :-) … am a bit scared though but don’t know why… hope it is not too bad though that I actually haven’t got any dumbbells :o ) . Have been so disoriented all day long that I actually either forgot or did not find any… and I have been in three shops LOL. Not many people know about this blog, but those who know me know that I am a total catastrophe. Waow! should get some synonyms for “know” :-) . Anyway, I hope bottles of water will do :-) .

Have not really set that many resolutions yet. Usually it is about ten :-D ! There is that one application on Facebook but would not involve enough resolutions. So, just to get my fitness goals down for 2008:

* I will really follow all of Tim’s instructions. One month is not that long, sooo :-) … And I know out of experience that his programmes always work… but, yes, you are responsible for yourself even if it is nice that someone motivates you and holds you accountable :-) . I will not disappoint him this time :o ) ! —> On 1 February, I will at least have lost a dress size and changed my eating habits, hopefully for good :-) . And, of course, I will feel really good :-) .

* The programme will be the kick-start to an enduringly progressive fit year. Why? As I am going to set myself more goals during the year, such as eventually overcoming a slight fear of heights and go to the Rainforest Adventure Park in the North of the country, paragliding, maybe even a marathon at the end of the year, etc…. and, then, for once, I will do it all for myself as, with that less fat and weight, I will feel better and fitter :-) . More —> at the beginning of each month then :-) .

Hiya and thank you for visiting my blog :-) !

Goodness! only two days to go now to take up the challenge :o ) ! I am really excited as, yes, this time, there will be no excuses for me to not follow great adice by true professionals. This blog will help me not procrastrinating again and all :-D .

I really like exercising although, well, my pictures (that I will hopefully be able to post LOL) show something different. It is always, as soon as you start, the serotonin (or is it endorphines???) just pops into my brain and body :-) . I know this programme will not be “easy” but I know it will be just right knowing Tim and Jess. I just wish I had not given up on myself as early last year and not found excuses for not taking care of my nutrition and exercising, so I would struggle less this time :o ) .

But the “deadline” 1 January suits me just fine :-) . Have got it with numbers. Would not be able to start something important on an insignificant date… and, then, I have also quit my previous job, but will probably only be able to start a new one by mid-January. So, yes, I will have the time and will discipline myself to do everything right :-) … and not procrastrinate yet again all the time :o ) !
